EMERGENCY & TRAUMA TEACHING DAY!
United Health Services will be holding its 22nd annual Emergency and Trauma Teaching Day on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Ramada Binghamton. Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit in the amount of 8 hours will be given for attending this nationally recognized event.
Our all national faculty will address the educational needs of those provider emergency medical care, including EMTs, Advanced EMTs, Paramedics, first responders, fire fighters, police officers, hostage negotiators, SWAT/SRT/MRT members, emergency, trauma, operating room, and critical care nurses, physicians and surgeons involved in pre-hospital emergency and trauma care. A highlight of the event will be "Between Good and Evil -- Predicting and Preventing Violence in American Institutions", a presentation by Roger L. Depue, Ph.D., a retired Unit Chief with the Federal Bureau of Investigation -- Behavioral Sciences Unit and the CEO of The Academy Group, an elite forensics and behavioral sciences consulting firm.
Other presenters include Scott Boletter, BS, EMT-P; Special Agent Greg Winsor with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Lt. Col. John Groves, RN, MSN, Trauma Clinical Nurse Specialist with the United States Army.
